Mikkel C johansen

Mikkel C. Johansen, born on June 24, 1987, is a highly accomplished Danish racing driver with a career spanning several motorsport disciplines. Johansen has demonstrated his talent and versatility over many years, securing championships and numerous heat victories in various categories, including Denmark's premier class, DTC (Danish Touringcar Championship), and V8 Thunder Cars.

His achievements include four Danish Championship titles in the Legend Cup, Danish Endurance Championship (DEC), Super GT, and DTC team championship. A significant international victory came at the Britcar 24hr race at Silverstone, England, driving an Aston Martin GT4. In 2024, Johansen prepared for international competition with test drives in a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in the Fanatec GT World Series and debuted in the Prototype Cup Germany, driving an LMP3 car at the Nürburgring. Previously, in 2023, he was a team champion in Super GT Denmark, and in 2021, he secured a race win and finished fourth overall in the V8 Thunder Cars Championship Sweden.

Johansen's career also includes successes in Formula Ford, where he was a two-time Danish bronze medalist (2007-2010), and a dominant karting career from 1997-2006, marked by numerous national victories. In 2024, GSM Racing announced that Mikkel Johansen would be joining their team to compete in the Fanatec GT Europe Sprint Cup driving a Lamborghini Huracan. Off the track, Johansen is an advocate for green initiatives, driving an electric car and using CO2-reducing fuel in his race cars.
