Matt Campbell, born on February 17, 1995, is a highly accomplished Australian racing driver specializing in sports car racing. Hailing from Warwick, Queensland, Campbell's journey to the top of motorsport began in Australian one-make series before transitioning through the junior ranks. His dedication and skill quickly became apparent, leading him to win the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia. In 2017, Campbell moved to Germany and secured third place in the Porsche Supercup, marking a significant step in his international career.

Since 2019, Campbell has been a Porsche works driver, a testament to his exceptional talent and commitment. He achieved a significant milestone by winning the LMGTE Am class at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2022, he won the IMSA SportsCar Championship in the GTD Pro class and in 2024, he won the 24 Hours of Daytona. Campbell is currently a full-time driver of the #5 Porsche 963 for Porsche Penske Motorsport in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar class, showcasing his ability to compete at the highest levels of endurance racing.

In 2024, Campbell demonstrated his skill in the FIA World Endurance Championship, earning a pole position at the season opener in Qatar. He also secured Team Penske's 100th sportscar pole at the 6 Hours of Spa.
