Kenton Koch, born on July 5, 1994, is a highly accomplished American racing driver currently competing in the GT4 America Series, Michelin Pilot Challenge, and IMSA SportsCar Championship. Koch's racing journey started at the young age of eight, karting became his passion. By 16, a karting shootout win earned him a Skip Barber Regional Series scholarship, marking his transition to cars. Demonstrating exceptional talent, he secured four consecutive championships, progressing through Skip Barber MAZDASPEED Challenge, Pro Challenge, MX-5 Cup, and IMSA Prototype Lites. This success fueled his participation in the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona, where he emerged victorious in the PC class.
Koch's career highlights include winning the 2014 Mazda MX-5 Cup, the 2015 IMSA Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda, and the 2016 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in LMPC. In 2024, he contributed to Korthoff Preston Motorsports' first-ever win at VIR in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, aiding their 3rd place finishes in both the GTD Championship and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.
