Katie Milner is a rising star in the world of motorsport, hailing from the United Kingdom. Born in York, England, the now 25-year-old racer's passion for speed was ignited early, inheriting the racing "bug" from her father, Jonny Milner, a two-time British Rally Champion. Before transitioning to circuit racing, Milner honed her skills in Autograss racing, securing multiple championship wins.
Milner's career took off when she became the first female Junior Saloon Car Champion in 2016, a landmark achievement that marked her as a driver to watch. She continued to impress in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, earning the British Women Racing Drivers Club (BWRDC) Gold Star in the same year. In 2020, Milner's talent was recognized by McLaren, making her the first female driver to be selected for their Driver Development Programme. This opportunity led her to compete in the British GT Championship with Team Rocket RJN, driving a McLaren 570S GT4.
While her initial focus was on GT racing, Milner's interest in rallying, the discipline where her father excelled, remains strong.
