Pilot de curses Josh Steed

Josh Steed is a young and ambitious racing driver hailing from the United Kingdom. Born on July 12, 2002, in Aylesbury, Steed began his motorsport journey at a young age, karting from the age of seven. He quickly progressed through the ranks, showcasing his talent at local tracks like Rye House and Buckmore Park. After six weeks of learning how to drive a kart safely in the Bambino Kart school, he was ready to step up into a Honda Cadet. His karting career culminated in winning his first championship at Rye House in 2015, along with multiple wins and pole positions at other circuits. He also secured second place in two other championships at Whilton Mill and Kimbolton, and won the Josh O'Malley Cup.

Steed transitioned to tin-top racing, initially competing in the Fiesta Junior Championship, where he finished 3rd in 2018, achieving 10 podiums and 2 wins. He then moved into the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, winning the GT5 Challenge Pro title in 2021 with eight race wins. In 2022, he raced in the British GT Championship - GT4, finishing 3rd. More recently, Josh has been competing in the GT4 European Series, and the Championnat de France FFSA GT4, driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. In 2024, he also participated in the British Endurance Championship with Xentek Motorsport in a Porsche Cayman GT4, alongside Bal Sidhu. Josh also works as a coach for ARDS (Association of Racing Driver Schools), coaching in various series such as Ginetta Junior, GT5, GTP and GTA. Josh hopes to continue to climb the GT ladder and eventually become a factory driver for a manufacturer.
