James Walker, born on August 25, 1983, is a professional racing driver hailing from Jersey, United Kingdom. Walker's career began in single-seater racing in 2002, participating in the UK Formula Ford championship. He quickly gained momentum, securing the scholarship class in the 2003 UK Formula Ford series. This early success laid the groundwork for his progression through various racing categories.
Walker's career includes stints in Formula Three, the World Series by Renault, and the Superleague Formula, showcasing his versatility across different racing disciplines. In 2011, he joined JMW Motorsport in the Le Mans Series, achieving two class wins with Rob Bell in a Ferrari 458 Italia, ultimately finishing as runners-up in the GTE-Pro drivers and teams championships. He also competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
In recent years, Walker has remained involved in racing, partnering with fellow driver Tony Whitney in the Britcar Trophy Championship. Despite a period of relative inactivity, Walker retains a 'Gold' FIA driver categorization, indicative of his established skill and experience.
