Ilmari Korpivaara

Ilmari Korpivaara is a Finnish racing driver with experience ranging from karting to GT cars. Born on February 5, 1999, Korpivaara began karting at the age of 6 and progressed through the ranks, eventually transitioning to Formula Renault 1.6. In 2014, he competed in his debut season in cars in the Formula Renault 1.6 Nordic series, securing two podium finishes and finishing seventh overall. In 2015, he continued in the series, winning a race at Anderstorp and also achieving wins at Falkenberg.

Korpivaara has also achieved success in the Renault Clio Cup, finishing 3rd in the Clio Cup Nordic series in 2017. During that season, he achieved 8 pole positions, 9 podiums, and 3 wins in 11 races. In 2019, Korpivaara raced with Leipert Motorsport in the 24H Series, achieving a class victory at Portimao, and with Phantom Pro Racing in the China GT Championship, securing a pole position in Shanghai. That same year, he earned the Permit A license for the Nürburgring Nordschleife. More recently, in 2023, he participated in the GT4 Central European Cup driving a KTM X-Bow GT4.
