Gustav Malja, born on November 4, 1995, is a Swedish racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport categories. Starting in karting at a young age, he quickly progressed, winning the Swedish Championship and Gothenburg Grand Prix in the KF3 category in 2009.
Malja transitioned to single-seaters in 2011, competing in the ADAC Formel Masters championship. In 2012, he finished as runner-up in the same series. He further honed his skills in Formula Renault 2.0, securing podiums in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship in 2013 and achieving two wins in 2014. Gustav also competed in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. Progressing through the ranks, Malja participated in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, earning two podiums, before making his mark in GP2 (later Formula 2).
In 2017, he continued in Formula 2 with Racing Engineering, achieving a podium finish in the Monaco sprint race. Gustav Malja also had a brief experience with Formula 1, testing for Sauber F1 Team at the Hungaroring in 2017. More recently, he has been seen competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.
