Gunnar Jeannette, born on May 5, 1982, is an accomplished American racing driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Jeannette began his racing journey relatively late at age 16, starting in historic sports car racing before quickly transitioning to the professional level. His debut in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) came in 2000, where he achieved several top-10 finishes in both GT and Prototype classes. Notably, at just 18 years old, Jeannette became the youngest driver to complete the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2000.
Throughout his career, Jeannette has competed in Grand-Am, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the 24H Series. His early success included a second-place finish in the GT class at the 2001 Le Mans 24 Hours. In 2011, driving for CORE Autosport, he secured the American Le Mans Series LMPC Drivers' Championship, marking a significant milestone. Beyond driving, Gunnar Jeannette also serves as the Team Principal for AO Racing, showcasing his leadership and passion for the sport. He has 12 wins, 34 podiums, 5 pole positions, and 6 fastest laps over 181 starts.
