Francesco Provenzano, born on February 12, 1986, is an Italian racing driver who has competed in various open-wheel categories. Provenzano's career began in Formula Renault, where he showed promise early on. In 2006, he finished second in the Italian Formula Renault Winter Series with BVM Minardi. He then progressed to the Euroseries 3000 championship.
In 2007, Provenzano participated in the International Formula Master series with ADM Motorsport. During that year, he achieved a few notable results, including a fifth and sixth-place finish at Brands Hatch, which contributed to his 20th overall position in the championship. Concurrently, he secured third place in the Formula Master Italia championship. He continued in the International Formula Master series in 2008 but couldn't improve his previous year's ranking.
Provenzano also had a brief stint in the GP2 Asia Series during the 2008-2009 season with Trident Racing, stepping in for Alberto Valerio. Although his time in GP2 Asia was short-lived, it marked his participation in a highly competitive series.
