Dylan Derdaele is a Belgian racing driver born on May 29, 1992, in Overpelt. Derdaele's career began relatively late at the age of 14 in karting, following in the footsteps of his father, a GT racing enthusiast. Despite his late start, Dylan quickly found success in the Rotax Max Benelux league. By 2008, he transitioned to GT racing, seeking close and competitive racing without excessive politics and budgets.
Derdaele has proven to be a versatile and adaptable driver, showcasing his talent in various racing categories, including sports prototypes and GT cars. He has competed in national and international championships across the globe, including races in Japan, the United States, and Macau. His home championship in the Benelux region has been a central point in his career. In 2020, Derdaele marked his first full-time campaign in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for CAAL Racing in the #98 Ford Mustang. He aimed to compete for the EuroNASCAR 2 title, adding another chapter to his diverse racing experience.
Off the track, Dylan has also established himself as a businessman within motorsport, leading the Belgium Racing team. He is known for his direct and honest approach, aiming to help talented drivers achieve their goals. His racing achievements include 3rd in the Endurance BRCC 2013, a class win at the 24 Hours of Zolder in 2013, and participation in Porsche Cups in 2013, as well as Blancpain Endurance series in 2011 and 2012.
