David Brabham

David Brabham, born on September 5, 1965, is a highly accomplished Australian racing driver with a career spanning over three decades. The youngest son of the legendary three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jack Brabham, David has carved his own niche in the world of motorsport, particularly in sports car racing. While he did have stints in Formula One, driving for the Brabham and Simtek teams in the early to mid-1990s, it's in the realm of endurance racing where he truly excelled.

Brabham's sports car racing achievements are extensive and impressive. He is one of only four Australians to have won the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, securing an outright victory in 2009 with Team Peugeot Total. He also boasts multiple class wins at Le Mans with Aston Martin Racing. His success extends to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), where he claimed back-to-back LMP1 titles in 2009 and 2010. Beyond these highlights, Brabham has secured victories in numerous other major sports car events, including the Spa 24 Hours, Daytona 24 Hours, and Sebring 12 Hours.

Beyond his on-track achievements, David Brabham is also focused on giving back to the sport. Through his Brabham Performance Clinic, he mentors and inspires young drivers, helping them develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in racing. Furthermore, after a lengthy legal battle, David successfully regained the Brabham trademark and is working towards bringing the iconic Brabham name back to the forefront of motorsport.
