Cato Poulsen is a Danish racing driver with a passion for motorsports. Born in Denmark, Cato has been involved in racing since a young age, starting with karting. He quickly progressed through the ranks, showcasing his talent and determination on the track.
In 2015/2016, Cato won the Formula Gulf Championship, setting new track records at Yas Marina F1 circuit and Dubai Autodrome for the class. He was also selected as part of the DASU Team Denmark Elite single-seater racecar driver program. Earlier in his career, in 2014, he was a DASU Team Denmark elite kart driver, competing in the FIA Academy Trophy and the Danish National Championship.
Cato holds an International Professional Racing Licence, Category C, issued by DASU, Denmark. He is expected to be ranked as a Silver driver by the FIA for participation in Endurance series. Cato sees racing as a team sport and values the contributions of sponsors, engineers, mechanics, coaches, and team managers. He understands the importance of technical skills, car setup, and physical and mental training for success in motorsports.
