Walt Bowlin

Walt Bowlin is an American racing driver with experience in various racing series, including the Pirelli World Challenge and the Pro Mazda Championship. Known for his adaptability and determination, Bowlin has made a name for himself in the competitive world of motorsports.

In 2014, Bowlin joined the Pirelli World Challenge, driving an Audi R8 LMS ultra for M1 Racing in the GT-A class. He expressed his enthusiasm for the series, citing its high level of competition and the exposure it offers to sponsors. His goal was simple: to improve with each race. Before that, he had success in the Star Mazda series, where he was an Expert class champion. M1 Racing team owner Paul Mata has always enjoyed working with Walt, and was interested to see what he could do in a car that is a better fit for him physically.

Bowlin's racing career also includes participation in the Pro Mazda Championship, where he achieved multiple Expert class victories. Driving for M1 Racing, he secured wins at the Allied Building Products Grand Prix of Toronto doubleheader, showcasing his skills on the street course. Beyond racing, Bowlin is a practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
