Matthew Higgins

Matthew Higgins is a British racing driver hailing from Trefeglwys, Wales. Born into a racing family as the son of rally legend David Higgins, Matthew began his motorsport journey in karting at the age of 12. He quickly made a name for himself, securing the Rotax British Champion, British Open Champion, and BNL Kick-Off Champion titles in 2020.

Transitioning from karts to single-seaters, Higgins joined the Era Motorsport Driver Development Program and competed in the 2023 Formula 4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda. He drove the No. 18 car, gaining valuable experience in diverse weather and track conditions. In 2024, he participated in the RMC Euro Trophy - Senior, showcasing his talent on the European stage. With a strong foundation in karting and a burgeoning career in open-wheel racing, Matthew Higgins is a rising star with a promising future in motorsport.
