Danilo Dirani

Danilo Dirani, born on January 10, 1983, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a racing driver with a diverse career spanning karting, Formula 3, Champ Car Atlantic, and Brazilian Fórmula Truck. His early career was marked by significant success in karting, where he clinched an impressive 29 championships across South America between 1992 and 2002.

Transitioning to Formula 3, Dirani initially finished as runner-up to Nelson Piquet Jr. in 2002 in Formula Three Sudamericana, despite Piquet Jr.'s significant win advantage. However, Dirani dominated the 2003 season, winning 14 of 18 races to secure the championship. In 2004, he ventured into British Formula 3, finishing 5th overall with two wins at Croft. The following year, racing for P1 Motorsport, he secured two more wins at Donington Park and finished 6th in the championship. During this period, Dirani was also named to Honda Racing F1's development roster, gaining valuable experience with a Formula 1 team.

Later in his career, Dirani competed in the Champ Car Atlantic Series in 2006 and currently races for DF Motorsports in Brazilian Fórmula Truck. Beyond racing, Dirani enjoys hobbies such as karting, music, tennis, and skiing. Known for his calm and mature approach, Dirani is a passionate Brazilian who remains a keen football fan, supporting Corinthians of São Paulo.
