Benjamin Barker

Benjamin Barker, born on April 23, 1991, is a British professional racing driver currently making waves in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). In December 2023, Barker signed a factory contract with Ford and now races a Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3, demonstrating his talents in the LMGT3 class.

Barker's journey to the top began in karts in 2004 before progressing to the British Formula Ford Championship in 2009. In 2010, he showcased his talent internationally by winning the Australian Formula 3 Championship, edging out his competition by a single point. He further honed his skills in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia before returning to the UK and securing the runner-up position in the British version in 2012.

A Porsche stalwart for over a decade, he is a four-time Bathurst 12 Hour class winner and a Dubai 24 Hour overall winner. Despite limited success in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Barker is considered one of the strongest GTE Am drivers, having broken the lap record for the category at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2025, Ben continues to race a Proton Mustang GT3 in the World Endurance Championship and will also compete in the IMSA endurance rounds in the #64 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.
