Adrien Tambay

Adrien Tambay, born on February 25, 1991, is a French professional racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport disciplines. The son of former Formula One driver Patrick Tambay, racing is in his DNA.

Tambay's career began in karting, achieving early success as a vice-champion in France at just 11 years old. He transitioned to single-seaters, joining the BMW Junior Team and finishing third in the Formula BMW Europe series. He progressed through Formula Three, Auto GP, and GP3 before finding a home in the highly competitive Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). As an Audi factory driver from 2012 to 2016, he secured three podium finishes, a pole position, and a fastest lap.

In more recent years, Tambay has demonstrated his adaptability by competing in GT racing, including the FFSA GT Pro-Am series, and venturing into the world of electric racing. He is currently a CUPRA driver, and in 2022, he was crowned the FIA ETCR Champion. In 2023, he also debuted in Extreme E, driving for Abt Cupra. He also participated in the Berlin E-Prix rookie tests. Tambay has also participated in two rallies with Denis Giraudet, including the Monte Carlo Rally.
