Gaëtan Paletou

Gaëtan Paletou is a French racing driver who gained prominence through the GT Academy competition. Born on June 23, 1992, in Barzun, France, Paletou's journey into motorsports began unconventionally. Before entering the world of racing, he worked in his family's industrial packaging business.

In 2014, Paletou participated in the GT Academy, a competition that transforms Gran Turismo gamers into real-world racing drivers. He excelled in the rigorous week-long European Race Camp at Silverstone, ultimately winning the French finals. His exceptional performance earned him the title of GT Academy European Champion. Following his victory, Paletou underwent an intensive three-month driver development program, where he honed his skills in various UK races and received comprehensive training in driving, racing, physical fitness, and mental fortitude. He secured his international racing license and earned the opportunity to compete in the Dubai 24 Hour race behind the wheel of a Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 car.

Paletou's career has seen him compete in various racing series, including LMP2, GT3, and LMP3 cars. In 2015, he participated in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving car #41. His success in GT Academy launched him into the world of professional racing, allowing him to pursue his dream of competing against some of the world's best drivers.
