Freddie Ang

Freddie Ang is a Malaysian racing driver with experience in both karting and saloon car racing. Born on December 8, 1994, Ang has been competing in various racing series since 2010. He started his career in karting, achieving notable results such as finishing 6th in the 2010 Rotax Max Asia and placing 3rd in the Yamaha SL Cup in the same year. In 2011, he finished 3rd in the rookie category of the JK Asia Racing single-seater series.

Ang transitioned to saloon car racing, participating in events like the Sepang 1,000KM Endurance Race, where he finished 7th in 2013. More recently, he has been a contender in the Toyota Vios Challenge, a one-make series in Malaysia. In 2020, Ang joined Viper Niza Racing to compete in the TCR Malaysia Touring Car Championship, driving a Cupra TCR alongside his brother Gilbert Ang and team principal Douglas Khoo. He also participated in the Malaysian Championship Series in 2023, driving a Honda Jazz.
