Francesc Gutierrez Agüi

Francesc Gutierrez Agüi is a Spanish racing driver with a long and varied career spanning over three decades. Born on August 6, 1969, Gutierrez has participated in numerous races, showcasing his versatility across different racing disciplines, including rallys, circuits, and hill climbs. He began his racing career in 1989, participating in hill climb events, where he won the Spanish Championship and was runner-up in the European Championship in the touring car category in 1992.

Gutierrez has extensive experience in touring car and GT racing. He has competed in events such as the Hankook 24H Barcelona, an event he has entered for the 25th consecutive time as of 2024, and has even won overall in 1998 and 2008. In the 2023 edition of the 24H Barcelona, Gutierrez was classified as a semi-professional driver. In addition to his racing career, Francesc Gutierrez manages V-Line Org, an organization involved in national circuit championships and road events.

Beyond his on-track activities, Gutierrez also runs an advanced driving school, ECAV (Escuela de Conducción Avanzada), aimed at improving driving skills for both everyday drivers and aspiring racers. His school has trained many drivers across different disciplines, including Nil Montserrat, Siso Cunill, and Ana Álvarez. Gutierrez’s multifaceted career showcases his dedication and passion for motorsport, both as a competitor and as a mentor.
