Cédric Wauters

Cédric Wauters is a Belgian racing driver born on December 16, 1994, in Ghent. As of 2025, he is 30 years old and resides in Wachtebeke-Overslag. Wauters' passion for racing ignited in 2005, and he quickly progressed through the ranks. He secured the Belgian champion indoor karting title in both 2012 and 2013. Transitioning to autosport in 2013, he initially competed in the Special Open Trophy with a Westfield, marking his debut with a dominant pole position and victory.

In 2015, Wauters achieved the position of vice-champion in the BMW Clubsport Trophy alongside teammate Bernard Claes. Currently, he participates in the Belcar championship, driving a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo for Totaalplan Racing. Additionally, he remains active in karting, competing in various endurance races and individual championships.

Beyond his racing endeavors, Wauters has also focused on driver coaching since 2018. Throughout his career, Cédric Wauters has achieved 6 wins, 1 pole position, 8 podium finishes and 2 fastest laps across 29 races. His racing idols are Michael Schumacher and Marc Goossens.
