Laurents Hörr

Laurents Hörr, born on September 11, 1997, is a German racing driver making a name for himself in the world of endurance racing. Beginning his open-wheel journey in 2014 in the Formula Renault 1.6 Northern European Cup with his family-run team, Dutt Motorsport, Hörr quickly demonstrated his talent, securing his first victory in the Formula Renault 1.6 Nordic championship the following year at Anderstorp Raceway. After competing in Formula Renault 2.0, funding challenges led him to shift his focus to sports car racing.

In 2019, Hörr partnered with DKR Engineering in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, where he and co-driver François Kirmann clinched the LMP3 class title with two wins and five podiums. The following year, he joined Team Project 1 in the FIA World Endurance Championship. In 2021, he secured the European Le Mans Series LMP3 title with DKR Engineering, claiming three race victories. His performance earned him a nomination for the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship rookie test in Bahrain.

Hörr made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022 in the LMP2 class with DKR Engineering. In 2023, he competed full-time in the European Le Mans Series for IDEC Sport in the LMP2 class alongside Paul-Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue, and also raced in the Prototype Cup Germany. Known for his ambition and dedication, Laurents aims to secure a factory contract and ultimately win the World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He also coaches other drivers and founded his own karting team.
