Jean-françois Yvon

Jean-François Yvon, born on November 24, 1958, is a French racing driver with a career spanning several decades. He has primarily focused on sports car racing, including multiple participations in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Yvon's Le Mans journey began in 1984, driving a BMW M1. Throughout the 1980s, he continued to compete in the endurance classic with teams like Primagaz and Gebhardt Motorsport, piloting cars such as the Cougar C12-Porsche and Gebhardt JC853-Ford Cosworth. He continued racing at Le Mans in the 1990s, driving for Courage Compétition and Welter Racing. Jean-François Yvon also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2000, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

While a win at Le Mans eluded him, Yvon secured a class win in 1984. He achieved a third-place class finish in 2009 and a fourth-place class finish in 2010, demonstrating consistent performance in the LMP2 category.
