Niklas Krütten

Niklas Krütten, born on October 20, 2002, is a rising German racing driver who has quickly made a name for himself in various motorsport disciplines. Krütten's career began at the young age of eight, spending several years karting before transitioning to single-seaters in 2018. He immediately showcased his talent, becoming the best rookie in the ADAC Formula 4 in his debut season, securing multiple podiums along the way. He continued to impress in Formula 4, achieving a silver medal at the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games.

In 2020, Krütten made a successful move to Euroformula Open, claiming the Rookie Champion title and finishing in the top 5 overall. Instead of following the traditional path to Formula 2, he transitioned to endurance racing in 2021, competing in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) where he finished as runner-up in the LMP3 category. This success led to a move to the LMP2 class in ELMS with Cool Racing in 2022, earning multiple podiums and a top-five finish. He also achieved victories in the ADAC GT Masters with Schubert Motorsport.

Continuing his ascent, Krütten has also ventured into GT racing. In 2023, he secured the Gold Cup title in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup with Team WRT. In 2024, Krütten impressed in his debut season in the Japanese Super GT Series, earning the title of Best Rookie. Currently, in 2025, Niklas is set to compete in the International GT Open with Team Motopark driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3. Outside of racing, Niklas hones his skills using a home simulator and enjoys football and kickboxing.
