Mikel Azcona Troyas, born on June 25, 1996, is a Spanish auto racing driver who has made a significant impact in the world of touring car racing. Azcona began his motorsport journey at a young age, starting with karting at the age of six. His early career included participation in Spanish karting championships, where he achieved notable results, including a second-place finish in the Cadet class of the national championship in 2009. In 2012, he transitioned from karting to touring car competitions, focusing on a professional future in this racing discipline.

Azcona's career highlights include winning the TCR Europe Touring Car Series championship in both 2018 and 2021. His success continued in 2022 when he clinched the WTCR championship in his first year with the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team.
