YAO Liangbo

YAO Liangbo, a racing driver from Macau S.A.R. born on April 23, 1980, has built a career across several GT racing series. Yao's racing journey includes participation in the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific, where he secured 2nd place in the Coppa Shell Am class in 2020. He also competed in China GT in 2019.

Yao's accomplishments include two podium finishes out of 27 races started, with one pole position and two fastest laps. In the 2020 Macau GT Cup, he was running well before an accident on Lap 10 brought out a red flag. More recently, he has been seen competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup. In 2024, he participated in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup, finishing 25th. He also raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, with several races in Sepang and Singapore. He has been associated with teams such as Phantom Pro Racing Team and Nova Race. Outside of racing, Yao is an entrepreneur.
