With an outstanding record of five podium finishes throughout the season, StarFusion Racing, along with these three drivers, simultaneously won both the overall driver and team championships in their respective groups.

Rising Star: StarFusion Shows Its Potential

StarFusion Racing is a rapidly rising star team in endurance racing this season. Upon learning of the more accessible GTL modification rules introduced in the CEC 2025 season, they resolutely chose to participate in the fierce competition of the National Endurance Championship. The team, along with three skilled drivers, dominated the track in a heavily modified BMW M2.

Making their debut at the Chengdu circuit, StarFusion Racing steadily improved their performance through racing, ultimately achieving podium finishes in both rounds of the GTL1 group races, reaping significant rewards. Moving to the Ningbo circuit, the trio of drivers Zhang Yameng, Jiang Peihong, and Wang Hao shone even brighter. Their outstanding performance and excellent teamwork secured them two victories in the Ningbo leg, laying a solid foundation for their pursuit of the overall annual championship.

Looking ahead to the final race of the year, the four-hour extended format and double points system adopted at the Tianjin station will add further uncertainty to the battle for the overall championship. Faced with such a formidable challenge, this rising force is brimming with confidence, aiming to seize the top spot in the annual championship battle and achieve another outstanding result.

A Fierce Battle Against a formidable Opponent: Maintaining Points Advantage to Win the Overall Championship

The start of the Tianjin round was very smooth for StarFusion Racing. In qualifying, they secured second place in their group thanks to an excellent performance. At the start of the race, the No. 77 BMW M2 GTL1 quickly established itself on the track, moving into the top five, and consistently trading the lead with their biggest rival in the same group—the No. 96 car from the YOUME team—in a thrilling and intense competition.

The battle raged until the final hour of the race. Ultimately, StarFusion Racing suffered a narrow defeat, finishing second in their class. Despite failing to win this round, their points advantage from previous races secured them the overall GTL1 championship for the season.

Zhang Yameng expressed her respect for her competitors after the race: "I especially want to commend our opponent YOUME team's 'Big Black' GT-R race car; it's truly amazing. In a four-hour race, you can see many unexpected events on the track, and our BMW M2, which has persevered throughout the entire season, was able to..." It wasn't easy to keep going. I want to thank our team and every teammate. It's everyone's joint efforts that allowed us to achieve relatively stable results, a result that brings us immense joy.

Wang Hao, a driver fiercely competing against rivals on the track, is under even heavier competitive pressure. He remarked, "Overall, we were under considerable pressure today. The tires on my third car weren't in ideal condition, making the race quite challenging and exciting. Looking back on the past year, my two teammates have been incredibly helpful; they've taught me so much, and I sincerely thank them."

After being crowned champion, Jiang Peihong said, "Overall, our team's performance was quite good, meeting pre-race expectations. Because our car has a relatively small fuel tank, we had to pit more times than our opponents. Each pit stop went very smoothly, and the entire team performed exceptionally well, cooperating seamlessly and working together to achieve this honor."

Looking back at 2025, the newcomer StarFusion... Racing displayed its strength on the track, achieving a solid points advantage and securing both the driver and team championships in the National Endurance Championship GT Cup GTL1 group. As a rising star in the 2025 endurance racing season, StarFusion Racing's impressive performance this season has raised expectations for its future success. We sincerely hope this team can continue to write its own glorious chapter in the CEC racing world.
