A New Season, A Proven Platform for Endurance Excellence

The Asian Le Mans Series (AsLMS) 2025–2026 season returns with a six-race schedule across three world-class circuits, reaffirming its position as the premier endurance championship in Asia. Organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) — the same body behind the 24 Hours of Le Mans — the championship offers a compact, competitive calendar that combines professional organization, strong media visibility, and an international field of GT and prototype contenders.

This season continues the format of three categoriesLMP2, LMP3, and GT3 — ensuring close racing and balanced grids across professional and gentleman drivers alike.

2025–2026 Calendar and Circuits

The championship spans three iconic venues across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, providing diverse circuit challenges and climatic conditions ideal for endurance competition.

3–4Dubai AutodromeUnited Arab EmiratesJanuary 29–February 1, 2026
5–6Yas Marina CircuitAbu Dhabi, UAEFebruary 6–8, 2026

Each venue hosts two four-hour endurance races, forming a total of six rounds over the season. The schedule mirrors a full European Le Mans campaign in mileage, but is condensed for logistical efficiency and driver accessibility.

Race Format and Track Time

Each event weekend provides extensive on-track opportunities for teams and drivers to prepare and perform at the highest level. The format includes:

  • 1 × 90–120 min Official Test Session
  • 2 × 90 min Free Practice Sessions
  • 1 × 15 min Qualifying Session
  • 2 × 4-hour Races

Additional unofficial testing opportunities at Sepang and Dubai may be announced closer to the season start.

GT3 Category: The Core of Competition

The GT3 class remains a highlight of the Asian Le Mans Series, showcasing the latest generation of factory-supported race cars and top-tier privateer teams. For the 2025–2026 campaign, entries include models such as the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, Ferrari 296 GT3, and other global contenders from brands like Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, and Aston Martin.

Eurasia Motorsport — one of Asia’s most successful endurance racing outfits — has confirmed participation with a BMW M4 GT3 Evo, combining global race-winning machinery with decades of Le Mans and ELMS experience.

Technical and Sporting Regulations

The championship follows ACO-standard regulations, aligned with European Le Mans and WEC structures to ensure fairness and international consistency.

Key Technical Details:

  • Tyres: Michelin (2 sets for Free Practice, 1 for Qualifying, 4.5 sets per Race)
  • No minimum mandatory pit stop time for GT3
  • Safety Systems: Virtual Safety Car (VSC), Full Course Yellow (FCY), and pass-around Safety Car procedures
  • Scrutineering: Conducted by ACO race control officials
  • Licence Requirement: Minimum FIA ITC licence

This high regulatory standard ensures professional-level competition and reliability for teams transitioning toward international Le Mans endurance categories.

The Road to Le Mans

A major incentive of the Asian Le Mans Series is its automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the GT class championship-winning team. This pathway has made AsLMS a vital stepping stone for both drivers and teams seeking global exposure and entry into the world’s most prestigious endurance race.

Eurasia Motorsport, with five previous Le Mans 24 Hours entries, is perfectly positioned to capitalize on this opportunity, giving its GT drivers first priority to compete at Le Mans 2025 under the team’s banner.

Media and Exposure

The 2025–2026 season promises enhanced global media reach, building upon record growth from recent years. The 2022–2023 season generated significant media value, and 2024–2025 results (to be released in mid-2025) are expected to surpass previous records.

Media coverage includes:

  • Live race broadcasts and online streaming
  • Widespread coverage in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East
  • Active social media engagement and YouTube content
  • Dedicated Chinese-language media presence

This broad exposure makes the Asian Le Mans Series a prime platform for drivers and sponsors alike, combining endurance competition with global marketing value.

A Championship Built for Growth

Compact, competitive, and professionally managed, the Asian Le Mans Series offers the perfect environment for teams, manufacturers, and drivers to develop their endurance racing credentials. With its mix of world-class circuits, accessible logistics, and Le Mans incentives, the 2025–2026 season stands out as one of the most compelling campaigns in the region’s motorsport calendar.
