Harrison Jones

Harrison Edward "Harri" Jones, born on June 2, 1999, is a prominent Australian racing driver making waves in the world of motorsport. Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Jones has rapidly ascended through the ranks, showcasing his talent and determination on both national and international stages. Currently, in 2025, he is defending his title in the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia, running his own team, Jones Motorsport, after securing championships in 2022 and 2024.

Jones's career began in 2015 in the Queensland Formula Ford Championship, progressing to the Australian Formula Ford Championship from 2016 to 2018. He clinched the 2018 Australian Formula 3 Premier Series title, marking a significant milestone early in his career. Transitioning to sports car racing, he won the 2019 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge in his debut season before stepping up to the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia. In 2023, Jones ventured into Europe, competing in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, earning the title of Rookie Vice-Champion in both series.

Beyond racing, Jones graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Engineering in March 2024 and was awarded a UQ Blue award for his sporting achievements. He is also a Driver Development Coach in Australian Motorsport. With multiple championships and race wins under his belt, Harri Jones has set his sights on the Repco Supercars Championship and expanding his team, Jones Motorsport.
